The whole DTLT group had the opportunity to speak at the Educause Midatlantic Regional Conference in Baltimore, Maryland this past Friday. The panel discussion covered ds106, the innovative digital storytelling course out of the University of Mary Washington as well as the community of learners that continues to grow from it.

In the spring of this year Grant Potter built a community-run radio station as part of the #ds106 digital storytelling MOOC. Since then live and mobile broadcasting has been added, a conference line running on a PBX system was added, and an 888 number is in the works for calling in. None of this comes free and it was time for the community to gather and raise money for this cause. After a full day of fundraising the group at DTLT with many special guests comes together for the final show and tally.
