Last week marked the 20 year anniversary for the debut of the World Wide Web from a small hypertext document posted by Tim Berners-Lee. Michael Wesch has a great post reflecting on who we were then and who we want (or should want) to be today. It’s a great time to reflect on how much (or how little) has changed since the invention of the web 20 years ago and where we go from here.
Who do blogs suck in higher education? Martha Burtis, Andy Rush, and Jim Groom tackle the question of how educators can engage their audience using blogs by reflecting and finding your voice. There’s also a lot of hand-holding and promising that they don’t need Tim Owens (although you might not hear it).
